Good/Bad 2NT....
and then bid 3S over pard's forced 3C....
hoping that shows Honor-x in spades or constructive w/3...
because 3H! would show a limit w/3.

I am not sure but I think 2NT would have been inv+ and 4+ for the pair I was kibitzing. I was assuming:

2: simple raise
2N: inv+ 4+
3: Nat GF
3: Nat GF
3: inv+ 3
3: preemptive
etc..

2. My doubleton is a good one, and I have extra values to compensate for my lack of a 3rd spade.

pass is probably best for the moment or I have to give up 3 as a forcing call

So do the methods include no way to show any invit hands unless with spade support?

Did I mention the idea of playing 2NT as an invitational+ transfer to clubs?
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

I don't think you have ever mentioned transfers as a possibility in this auction (or similar ones).

Though I haven't done so I know those who play if they pass and opener reopens with double 2NT is lebensohl. That's the only thing that would convince me to pass here.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

Agree CSGibson.
If I were going to 3S, I want to show my clubs to alert partner CAQ are gold; DAKJ not much. But 3xH losers (the death-kiss in competing), DQ unguarded ain't going up.

Doesn't 2S leave partner his game tries? If he wants

Which way using 2NT artificial + negX + 3H Q-bid shows C-suit fit bid?
Immediate 3C?
2N, negX, Q then 3S?
NO way to show fit non-jump?
