Of the four options offered:
1. Raise to 4♠
2. Cue 4♥ and pass 4♠
3. Cue 4♥, 5♥, and pass 5♠
4. Drive to slam
I have no strong opinion on 2,3,4, but #1 is definitely just plain wrong.

Being an intermediate player, myself, I'd do option 2.
And if my partner misses telling me about a control, there'll be a fat man flying across the table when dummy comes down.
