I have been managing a social bridge group presently comprising of 26 senior citizens across the globe who regularly play since COVID days 2-3 times at specific mutually convenient timings each week using the Team Match set up. We are confronted with the situation of availability of more than 8 players for a specific session on most occasions. We accommodate the surplus players by seating them on Tables via the Casual set up route. It would be extremely helpful if the same pre-dealt deals saved in the Deals Archive can act as a Deal Source for both the Team Match and the Table(s) set up to declare the overall best performer and players ranking periodically.
Similarly, a situation of availability of players in non multiple of 4 is sometimes confronted which can be overcome by deploying robots. Another new option that seems feasible is to use the Group Challenge instead of a Table. If the Deal Source option is made available in the Group Challenge set up, it would similarly lead to somewhat comparable results as those from the Team Match and Tables (as suggested above).
I look forward to your concerned personnel assessment of my two suggestions above at an early date and I would also like other Forum participants facing issues similar to those mentioned above to post any solutions they are currently using for overcoming them and/or their support to my suggestions.
Thanks.

You can set up such a table, but it has to be a teaching table.

We can give you the ability to set up a tournament instead of a team match or a set of casual tables. Send us an email to tournaments@bridgebase.com please, explaining what you are trying to do, and our team will follow up with instructions.
