I was too tactful to mention that once out of the hippy garage BBO became a commercial enterprise and had ample time (20 years?) to rewrite the software to match customer expectations.
But I imagine blackshoe lives in the universe where a wise commercial enterprise does try to satisfy customers and improve quality in all aspects. Those who do not are destined to failure, even if they can temporarily extract profits from a monopoly.
