Depends on system, 2 can be pretty large for us so 3, we're K better than pass

We play weak NT, 3 is 2 good 5 card suits, NOT a huge hand, wide range 1N rebid, so 2 is anything short of a GF unbal 2N.

Ok, I would expect 2D on 2542, partner doesn't want to play 1nt
