I think they are inviting to something with no support for spades. Hopefully you can find a heart game and not no trumps

I think it allows for almost any contract except spades
But it confuses me, takes up space etc
And I have no idea of all the followups and how you communicate different hand types

Just put it through a practice table
rebids by opener are all natural 3 diamonds, 3 hearts, 3 spades etc, 3NT if you have stops in all suits and enough points. You will end in 4 hearts with a 3 heart bid.
I will wait for an expert view and not just what the bot says :)

In summary. I have a hand like that lol

The hand shows it is meant as an invite with a single suiter.

This hand should i.m.o. double to keep in the picture.
And it seems the player overlooked he is a passed hand making 3 a/ fitbid.

Luckily south overlooked the same. I would have bid 4 for sure.

I would redouble instead of doubling to show 4 hearts and 6 clubs. Or a forcing pass.

From GIB notes, "Strong (Soloway) jump shifts by unpassed hand, fit jumps by passed hand (except jumps to 3♣, which are natural and invitational)."

Not sure who is doubling/redoubling what?
One of those hands that is fine with a forcing NT
