I made 3NT+3 but a few gambled on one of two (edit correction 4) possible slams (one a grand)

I did consider trying for slam myself

EDIT 2 4 hearts is fine but 3NT slightly better

On the actual hand 6♦ looks to need little more than a 3-2 diamond break, but is very difficult to get to.

We have the agreement that in first and third we don't open a weak 2 (multi actually) with 2 aces, so the choice is P or 1♥ and it's close.

Depends on your 2N sequence.
With one partner I play
3♣ 6♥(331), 26(32) max.
