Is there a different meaning to 4th suit after a reverse?
I bid 3♦ and expected p to prioritize: 3 card ♠sup, ♦ stopper, neither. I feared the auction could end in 3♥ or 4♥ if I bid that on second round, thus 3♦ knowing p cannot bid NT.

Do you agree the 3♦ bid?
Now the expert bids 3NT. What now and why?
I bid 6♥. Now p bids 6♠. What now and why?

We managed to end in a contract no else in the 30 table field had the imagination to find :-) I bet those experts swear at me behind their screen :-))

Some people use a 2NT gadget over a reverse, so that they can set up a force below game. That would be useful here, as you could support in 3H (forcing) instead of passing through 4th suit.

Anyway, without that gadget I'd probably bid 4H and hope pard can draw slam inferences from my bids. He's an expert after all, no?

Having bid 6H and hearing pard bid 6S, I'd say pard has some freak with spade support and faked a reverse to establish a force. I think I'd try 7S now.

Then why did the expert not clear things up with 3♠?

Your conclusion seems to be in conflict with the earlier bidding.

He had the above hand. I bid 6NT passed out which only lost a few imps. Very few was in 7 and many sacced too expensive in clubs.

Still, if he held the hand above (AKJ AKxx x KQxxx) I don't really see why he bid 3NT without diamond stop. (To hog the hand maybe??)

I think this is just about right:

1C 1S
2H 3D
3S ...

and then perhaps follow up with 5C voidwood and take a shot at 7.

I think he didnt trust me, with an intermediate profile, to bid a 4sf but took it as natural.

No, 4th suit forcing still aplies,
regardless if your playing 2NT
in this seq. as artificial or not.

How else will it possible to locate
your 5-3 spade fit or the diamond
stopper?

2S is weak, the jump to 3S should
promise 3,bidding hearts and clubs
shows support.

Looking at your partners hand
3S is clear.

You could have raised his 2H bid
to 3H, which is forcing, but you
have a strong interest in reaching
7H, so the 3D bid is not wrong.

Over 6S I pass, since I am not guessing
on 7 level, 6S will have play if partner holds
AK in spade.

Most experts play a convetion where, after a reverse, 2NT is the weak bid... lebehnshol like. Other bids are game force. With your hand, I would have raised hearts immediately to 3, establishing trumps, and setting in motion the slam investigating apparatus at the three level. Assume partner bids 3♠ over this (cue-bid), now 5♣ as exclusion is a possibility, and in this case, it would be exclusion for both majors... (doube suit fit).
