IMPs, both vulnerable, you had
AQ---74---J943---107542
and the bidding was simple
1 heart(LHO)---1 spade(CHO)---3 hearts(RHO, game invitation)---pass(ME)
4 hearts(LHO)---pass.....
I was affraid a bit of CHO first lead, but, finally, it was better than expected - spade 5 (fourth)(!), however the dummy was
K103
KQ95
7652
Q8.
The declarer (good player) was thinking over for some time and put spade 10, finally, what I covered with spade Q then.
How should I continue? Should I cash spade ace and play my partner for fast entry and potential spade ruff or should I believe that the declarer is going to misguess spades?

I do not think declarer will play your partner for having underlead the space ace. After all, if you had just won Q from Qx a spade return would be immediate. And most partners don't underlead aces often.
I'd cash and see if pd gives me a useful suit-preference signal. Partner should have something for the overcall after all.

One thing is underleading an ace, and another very different is underleading AJ, declarer won't missguess this one.
So the problem is if cashing will stablish a discard or not, IMO it will hardly do so cash and hope partner to signal his entry if he has its the proper defence.

IF you cash ace, look at suit preference, and lead preferred suit, are you not potentially setting up the king for a pitch? I doubt that you're scoring a spade ruff on this hand. You're giving P J9xxx of spades for overcall? I suspect he has some outside cards/ controls, and possibly 6 spades or else opener bid 4H with xxx in spades, a possibility, I guess.
Probably wrong, but I would track a diamond at trick 2, and keep spade ace for communication. I don't suspect that any club tricks that we might have are going anywhere, and I'm concerned about cashing ace of spades, setting up the king for a possible pitch when I suspect that we don't have trump control.

partner has, hopefully, about 10 hcp... they aren't in spades and they supposedly aren't in hearts... i wouldn't normally do this, but on this hand i think i'd hang on to the ♠A and lead the ♦J... maybe partner has ♦A,Q... the problem with the club lead is, if declarer has the ace he's gonna lead low to the Q anyway.. let's try for a couple of diamond tricks

Yes, I agree, that the defence is not that difficult.
I cashed spade ace getting the lowest spade from my partner as preference signal. I continued with small club to the ace and partner played small spade back, ruffed and overruffed. We were able to cash one more diamond trick and the contract was one down. (With another defence, the contract would have been made, as the declarer would have discarded one diam on spade king eventually)
