Just heard that Ben (Inquiry) is quite ill. He went from mildly ill to critically ill last week, and doctors don't know why yet, though suspect it's an autoimmune response.

His wife has said he is responding to treatment and recovering, hopefully will be out by next week.

He is still on a feeding tube but off ventilator today.

He's in a hospital in Jacksonville. Anyway this is all we know ATM. Keep your fingers crossed for him.

My very best wishes to Ben and his family. I had an issue with an auto-immune problem thirty some years back and I'm still around. We can all hope for a full and speedy recovery.

Just received an update from his wife:

"Ben was able to stand and sit in a chair today. The majority of the functions he had lost (breathing, swallowing, face and tongue muscle control) have returned but need strengthening. He is quite the miracle. But we've always known that he is a very special guy. :-) "
"More and more these days I find myself pondering how to reconcile my net income with my gross habits."
