Got back home from my morning constitutional and decided to feed the birds.

Sekhmet bolted through the door like a bat out of hell. Never saw anything like it before. Turns out there was a bird out of the porch. This would necessarily be a bad thing, except for the fact that it was a wild turkey.

Every tried to separate a fight between a turkey and a full grown male Maine coon?
Its not a good way to start the day.

The turkey escape nearly unscathed.

The cat doesn't seem to understand the concept of pounce nor shred.

Yeah but you are in America - is it not practically a consitutional duty to carry firearms? :P

True that, however, I am an outlier.

More important, I have plucked chickens.
I have no desire to repeat this experience.

I'm not the chicken plucker, I'm the chicken plucker's son... ?

Always happens when a Maine coon goes to Mass.
