I once yelled at my partner for discarding the 'wrong' card when he was subjected to a squeeze that I allowed by giving the wrong count with too high a card. Now he's allowed to pitch aces when the opponents have the king in the dummy. At trick 2. When he could have followed suit. And blame me.

Pass. Double would suggest competing in H and show a stronger hand.

At favorable, I would try 3H. (Double I would expect to show more overall values, without implying more than 4 or 5 hearts.) At unfavorable, clear pass.

I am one of those who doesnt like lead directing doubles to be used as also competition directing doubles. To me it suggests nothing but lead.
But even if it did, i would still double. What am i scared of ? I would be so happy if pd competes at 3 level even at these colors. All i need is xxx ♥ and 3 kings over the NT opener or something like that to make it. Kxx ♥ and an AQ... Let em dbl us. Wont be the first time i pay 500 when they have 400 something.
I would be more scared that pd may compete at these colors, if i doubled with the hand below and similar hands that i would dble with;
