GIB at a lot of tables (presumably basic bots?) contrived this strange auction to reach the vastly inferior 4d making 5. Whereas the advanced bot at my table simply bid 4h over 3h, which is more normal.

What causes the difference, better simulations, combined with bad book definitions?

The 3h bid says "4+ H", clearly an error, should be 6+. And the 4h bid at my table supposedly promises 3h, while it should probably be 2-3 hearts.

And the 3H should have an upper limit of 14 TP or 14 HP (or something like that) as fourth suit forcing was bypassed not 10 TP+.

There was a bug. Fixed now.

So this will show invitation 6+ and 10-12TP.

Therefore West could consider pass or raise to 4♥.
