playing 2d auto- assumed -sorta agree pards 2cl opener,
a bit puzzled with the 3cl bid,however over 3 diamonds
bid 3 hts ,and got pards reply of 4hts.

NOW DO NOT RUSH TO CONCUR "BRAIN DEAD ":):)
PLYD 2 DIAM UP CAME Ace and followed by King diamonds,
and ruffed in dummy....... now what is ones next play?

I think the HA is more than obvious. I presume trumps are 5-0 or this would not be here...

Even if trumps are 5-0, we're cold, HA then overtake the HT even if they break 5-0, it gives them a trump trick then, but we're cold for 11 tricks.

It doesn't matter if you ruff with the HA or H10, you can't cash all top five hearts anyway- dummy's only entry is an overtake in hearts so assume 5-0 hearts cash 4 tops, run clubs and at some point the last trump- assume its with east must give your entry in spades to continue clubs.

One remote chance, East has singleton club 10- if he drops it no way to tell if its a false card.
