Pass. Too flattish for my taste. Not surprised if dbl turns out to be a winner.

I know the feeling. My feet have bad ODR right now. I feel really sorry for my seatmates on the 2 1/2 hour flight to louisville :P

lol. but gnome is right, ODR is low, I think pass is best I want some more (decent 14 or good 13) to double with a doubleton.

I feel stupid for asking this, but what is ODR? Anyways, I am passing, because I tend to follow the Mike Lawrence rule of 7 - will your bid/double work out if partner has an average 7 HCP? This hand screams NO!

Gonzalo's answer to the question is a lot more fun than mine. ODR = Offense to Defense Ratio. Our hand has 12 points and shortness in the opponent's suit, but the points are more defensive in nature. If the hand were instead xx QJxx AQxx KTx, I think you would get a lot more "Double, WTP?" answers.

Edit: Just in case, WTP? = What's The Problem?

If there was an option, I'd vote for "pass is clear, but considering doubling for two seconds is reasonable". I went with "pass is clear", which is a bit of an overstatement to my mind.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

I passed too but I think I thought about it for 5 seconds. Partner had a balanced 13 with AQx and 5 hearts. 4H doesn't make. 3N might.

I'd double. Feels aggressive, but probability of losing a lot of imps when this is wrong is pretty small. In a short match feels right to dble. Might get a big score out, but much more likely to generate a good score in, or to make no difference. Do not really mind 4h-2 when 3s-1 or something similar, which is probably your main loser in expectation.
