West leads a trump. (Otherwise declarer can ruff a ♥ in dummy.) Declarer plays ♥. Each time defence is in they return a trump. Declarer draws one more round of trumps discarding a diamond from dummy. This is the end position.



Declarer plays ♥Q. West is squeezed. East had to abandon clubs earlier since if he discards a diamond declarer can establish dummys ♦6.
