On our system a 2 bid forces 2 from partner 100% of the time, if this would change your answer please comment.

Hi:

Not many points, but eight losers.

Transfer to 2H which is unlikely to end the auction.

Regards,

4 for me, mostly because it helps keep ops quiet. True there are eight losers so I think 4 is not a favorite, but it will make sometimes. Plus we are NV, and no way they can find a double, so what's the worst that can happen?

This seems like a reasonable choice to me and probably what I would do IRL (And Fluffy did what on the Karpet!!? )

Transfer and pass. I would compete to 3H, but not volunteer. Standard policy is to play for plus scores.

I would invite, which I'm sure is wrong on a strictly double dummy basis but we will very often get the wrong lead.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

They are both passed hands so far so I'm not as concerned with them coming in...if LHO was not a passed hand I'd consider strongly consider texas as a two way shot to shut them out effectively and maybe it makes.

I dunno I'm still really concerned if I transfer that LHO will come in and we'll have to save in 4H over their partscore. But it seems dumb to texas and go down when they've just passed.

Guess I would transfer and bid 3H, again inviting is effective as a preempt (surely LHO will balance at least?), and I'm more likely to go plus as well (if partner passes an invite, game probably sucks).

I found this hand to be quite interesting esp cuz it's w/w MP.

today partner had a monster.

4 X made at a couple of tables when they didn't find the diamond ruff, LHO had

I saw my LHO hesitating over my 2 bid, and passed 2 to see if he reopened and I could gather a free raise form partner to raise to 4. Alas, he passed this time and +170 was a poor score.
