Here is a NABC hand that was sent to me, I have already given my answer and would like to see how others would tackle it. Plan the play.

Without much thought i would go with small ♠ from the dummy, win the ♠A, ♣A, ♠K, ruff a ♣, ♠J, ♦Q, top club.

If ♠Q doesnt appear, you have absolutely no chance to bring this home.
Play ♣K discarding ♦ then ♣J. -1 if you find ♣Q; -2 if not.
If ♠Q does appear.
IMO %play is ♠ to dummy; ♦finesse; ♣K discarding ♥; ♣J discarding ♥ (if not covered )

I can't handle the ten being single, so win in hand. Draw another round of trumps, A♣, ♦ finesse (I NEED this). Ruff a club. Draw another round of trump. ♦ tot he ace, hope ♣s run. If trumps were 4-1, I should still be able to get to hand with a ♦ ruff. I hope.
Hoping for 4♠s, 1♥, 2♦s, 5♣s, losing a ♠ likely.

This needs spade Q to be doubleton, diamond finesse to work and some miracles in clubs. I like the line by Simplicity

Why not a diamond?
If ♦K is on and RHO has ♠Qx then i think that your line needs ♥ 3-3 or LHO with 4♥, that is 36+24=60%
But ♣4-3 or Qx is 62+8+8=78%

Yes, you are right, I was auto removing dummy's entry in my pre analysis because I didn't yet know that I could avoid the diamond finese.
