That is not so likely.
Would partner lead his doubleton when he has a singleton in another unbid suit?
That would be much stranger than declarer playing a falsecard to hide ♦2.

Partner get's his ruff, I play a non-descript ♦6 that hopefully sends the message that I have no entry.
All this will probably be futile when declarer discards his club loser on ♦9, but good things can happen.
Partner returns ♣K and declarer must find ♥Q.
When that is so he is likely to finesse over my hand and partner will score ♥Q and ♣Q.

♠xx ♥Qxx ♦x ♣KQxxxxx is a normal vulnerable preempt when you like to bid.
Declarers hand would be ♠AQx ♥KJTxx ♦QT2 ♣Ax which is a perfectly reasonable 3♥ bid.

as it is MP I think you have to do your best to hold the contract to 4♥=. That is probably best done by switch to a ♣

Going to suck if declarer has ♦QT2 ♣Ax. Given partner's penchant for unsound openings, I guess it wouldn't be shocking if declarer had AH in clubs.

I'll try ♦, but I have no idea how to calculate which option is correct.
