KJT762 AJT765 A

Love all, RHO in first seat opens (sic) 1.

Well...?

Scoring: IMP

1 - 2 - p - p
3 - 4 - 5 - p
p - X - all pass

Down 1, but I think declarer misplayed it - he pulled trumps when he had 10 cross-ruff tricks + the K, which was good after I led the ace.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't have bid 4 (or even 3 for that matter), for all I know LHO could have a trap pass.

P should have bid 5. He has excellent support and zero defense.

Oh btw of course I agree with Gerben that dbl of 5 was terrible. You have a 2 overcall over 1 and that's it, no reason to bid again unless partner encourages.

2 sounds okay, although pass may work. 4 was not a good idea. Doubling 5 was the worst bid, though...

I had bid 2 or 3 heart at the first round and surely passed thereafter.

And I had lead the ace of club to avoid the comming endplays.
Kind Regards
