This will give everyone fodder for years to come but the first time I squeezed someone, fully knowing what I was doing, I shed a few tears of joy. No joke. (Is that way off-the-charts weird?)

While that's basically qualitiative 1000 posts is a more quantitative assessment of how much time I waste spend thinking and talking about bridge. Thanks for giving me that opportunity. Please don't tell my parents.

No man, that is not weird. That's pride as in "pride of the Yankees" as in some of the greatest sportsmen of all time respond that way to their accomplishments. Not sure they spend as much time posting on forums though, but they might if they played bridge. :angry:

That's right. If the hours I have spent on reading BBF would only count I am sure to be in the Top30. Its the only bridge book I have ever read, but it's a never-ending one! :)
