Surely you jest to even consider another bid. I think my partner has removed any possible thoughts of a higher strain.

I disagree with the no extras thing, we have 4 key cards of wich partner can know of 1 at most. Also partner had some trouble to stablish trumps and really didn't had many more options that 6♥. Anyway 7 was poor (but makes) because of a diamond wastage:
