4C, I would say the question is wrong formulated,
the question is not pass or pull, but convert or bid
on.
With kind regards

even tho this one is awful, you just don't have the stuff to convert at imps.... at mps... pass and lead a trump and pray
it would not surprise me to learn that passing was correct at imps as well.. I am beginning to rethink my fear of doubling the opps into game...not to lose that fear, but perhaps to modify the extent to which I allow it to influence my bidding.

I might pass at IMPs, but its a little swingy and Id never do it vs a weaker team, or where I was sitting on a lead.

Agree, but I agree with others that it's close to a pass at IMPs.

Looks like 3M EW is cold
...and so is 4m NS.
Proving once more that even if you hate it, don't pass pd's T/O X unless you have a clear penalty pass.

this hand prooves nothing. It prooves just: If pd makes an offshape takeout double, you are in an ugly situation. Wow what a surprise: It sometimes backfires if you don´t have your bid. So what is new?
