Hi,

Pass, although 2S is an alternative,
the heart shortage and the AQ in Diamond
should be compensation for the missing
3rd trump.

I also pass this random 8 count. My Q of ♥ is ob dubious value. I do like my ♦ as they often trap RHO's honor or fit PD, but my 6 card ♣ is headed by the T.

I see no reason to bid .. neilkaz ..

While I also pass, a neg double is an option. If PD rebids ♠ that is OK, and if PD bids 3♦ one can hope AQT is adequate support. But 43 fits aren't so fun at the 3 level or higher if PD competes which is why I prefer to pass.
