With my points in my suit, I might try 3 or 4H, but on this hand, I don't see any urgency to attempt anything fascinating. 1H is therefore plenty.

As MikeH brought up there may be tactical advantages that overcome the negatives for 3H? I thought 3H versus 1H was worth discussion as both have advantages and disadvantages at MP.
