GIB bid randomness

In a robot instant MP game this morning, I open 1C, GIBBO partner bids 1N, and I pass. At my table, LHO doubles, RHO bids 2S, and they make. At the 8 other tables where the player opened that hand, the bidding was identical to mine, EXCEPT the LHO DID NOT DOUBLE! So I got a 0% bottom and every other player that did exactly what I did got (shared) tops playing a 1NT contract N/S. Is the random double by my LHO GIBBO opponent a "feature" of the neural network GIBBO enhancements, or has there always been a RNG component to the GIB bidding? Feel free to redirect me to a post if this has been discussed ad nauseum.

the cause is that the other tables were played a longer time ago by the previous version of the robot.
