Next bot accident. This time it bids a reverse with a measily 13 HCP. Nice shape yes, but nowhere near reverse strength. Of course my 6NT bid was unwise, but I was already tilted by preivous bot stupidities and simply unlucky boards; and I am reporting it for the dumb reverse, not for my wrong bidding afterwards (:

GIB is counting it's shape for points including the singleton in you bid suit.
Note it is showing 16 points not HCP this is sometimes called support points.
But support points should only be used when you have a fit.

No, this time I think you are wrong.
The 2♣ was unconditionally game forcing and now even the conservative Bridge World (at least in this particular auction, they still haven't had the courage to poll 1♥-2m-2♠) accepts that the subsequent reverse does not promise extra strength in the 21st century. In our agreements I would bid the hearts with even less than this, in any case it meets the description supplied (which is already almost a record for GiB)

The issue seems to be that the bot grants itself distribution points for a singleton in partner's suit when it actually should subtract points for that (and regardless of that, one should only really add those points once a fit is found) - a shortness in partner's suit usually is bad. And if you account for that, the description of the bid looks like a reverse - reaching 16 total points needs a lot more HCP when you don't add distribution points for a shortness in partner's suit. If it wasn't showing extra strength, shouldn't the description be like 12+ HCP, 11+ total points or something?

2♣ is GF, 2♥ can be bid on a minimum. Nothing wrong with the bot.

GIB isn't in the 21st century, and can't bid 2♥ with a minimum; it will bid 2♦ with a point less or any other hand with 15 total points. As referred to above the issue is it always counting shortness in partner's suit, but GIB isn't capable of any other form of evaluation.

I just counted the Bot's shape points too and it did not lie
Maybe it expected a fit in hearts or diamonds

Ok so the bidding makes sense in that you can try for a slam after a non-minimum bid if you can find a fit. In that case the singleton in partners suit upgrades the hand.
