Sometimes i find I am 1 board or 2 or 3! into a new round before I notice.
Please make a distinctive noise when we have new opps.
Then we can greet and announce our systems.

'Hello' by Lionel Richie would be appropriate.
Or just the line 'Hello, is it me you're looking for?' maybe?

The computer voice from "Deeper Understanding" by Kate Bush would work.

I always struggled to detect real joy in that Ode.
But then I'm not sure joy is always appropriate for a new round anyway.
The opening bars of his 5th, perhaps?

Or the 5th backwards - which is Smoke on the Water.

The lyrics are all about joy. The first verse translated to English:

Quote

Joy, beautiful spark of Divinity [or: of gods],
Daughter of Elysium,
We enter, drunk with fire,
Heavenly one, thy sanctuary!
Thy magic binds again
What custom strictly divided;
All people become brothers,
Where thy gentle wing abides.

The political history of Ode to Joy may result in it causing offence to some.

Quote

Rise, O voices of Rhodesia,
God may we Thy bounty share.
Give us strength to face all danger,
And where challenge is, to dare.
Guide us, Lord, to wise decision,
Ever of Thy grace aware,
Oh, let our hearts beat bravely always
For this land within Thy care.

Rise, O voices of Rhodesia,
Bringing her your proud acclaim,
Grandly echoing through the mountains,
Rolling o'er the far flung plain.
Roaring in the mighty rivers,
Joining in one grand refrain,
Ascending to the sunlit heavens,
Telling of her honoured name.

Any distinctive noise would be ok with me. Except a fart.
