As a graphic designer, I find the configuration of the boxes indicating the number of tricks taken by each side to be a bit crude. The enclosed sketch, if you see it, shows how two identical double-arrowed rectangles could be configured to more equally and clearly indicate the directionality of the tally... with arrowheads clearly pointing to each team. If you can't view the image here, email me at jlewisc@icloud.com and I'll email it to you. Just a thought.
I am unable to enclose the sketch here. Boyan Halachev has it in an email I sent him today.

I think the current rectangles are good and simple, vs adding complexity

I think the two rectangles are more simple than good (I would like to see the sequence of the tricks, as one can at a face to face table) but it's not a big deal compared to other graphic problems.
If anything I would raise a different usability issue here: I can never figure out at the end of a trick if it has already been accounted to the trick count or not. Probably just dumb me, but it would help if the appropriate rectangle was highlighted when the trick is accounted or something similar.

Click either rectangle and you see the latest trick. You can arrow back and forth from there.

I would like the Claim pop-up to not block the trick count. Sometimes it takes extra time to verify the claim.
