Kicked off on seagt swap with robot

I've seen this a few times recently.

3 of us playing with a robot for the 4th hand (on the causal server). If the robot ends up as declarer it swaps seats with its human partner. At this point the human partner gets kicked off and I have to re-add them (sometimes this results in a re-deal).

Are we doing something wrong, or is this a bug?
