I'm a private player clinging at home to old-fashioned Goren 4 card major. But to play with random partners I need to know some other systems. There's no problem with SAYC.
But Forum D. Is there anyone to tell me some URLs to learn this system. The only one I know is the "Einführung in FORUM D" by René Steiner, 1994.
There are a couple of questions left: e.g. How do I support partner's opening bid of 1 major with 13+ P? Is Albarran mandatory? What about weak 2s? Neg. X only up to 1S? ... And what is "Forum D +"?
Of course all of these questions can be settled between the partners. But it saves time to agree to one standard from the start and come to variations later.
Best wishes
Volker

You can look here:
DBV Unterricht
For more information it seems you must buy some books which is of course very smart if you are the one selling the books
In Forum D to support with more than 14 points you need to make up some forcing bid first.
Forum D+ uses Benjamin (2♣ strong, 2♦ GF, 2Major weak two)

Hi,
- weak two are not a part of "Forum D"
- supporting partners mayor with +13
is made via the "delayed game raise"
With kind regards

Thanks to both of you. The download site of the DBV's is the one I've sought for.
