Goofy, is this that Drury in all seat approach?
Goofy, the opp choose to never bid their good clubs but bid their terrible suits at
2 level vul?
Goofy, I guess east is not allowed to double for penalty?

With BP'O poll, that is going to be up to you justin and the other panelist, it is very rare anyone ever agrees with my bids... :-)

You think you would bid this differently as EW, leading to a better contract?

Contract was fine, it was the 2C bid that we have problems with.....

Unless you play that as some sort of forcing spade raise (and you've way too much for a 1st/2nd seat drury bid, if that's what you play) it seems crazy. Why would you want to tell partner about a 2 card suit when you have AKJxx in support for his suit?

Incidently, when partner opens that East hand, I don't think it's possible to get to a making slam (6S is down on a club lead)

This was bid on BBO. Nothing agreed except SAYC. I was East.
For me West does show a hand too strong to raise to 4 immediatly.
An initial 2 bid seems however more logical.

What's wrong with Jacoby 2NT? That's part of SAYC isn't it?

Sorry was just teasing, didn't mean that to come off as offensive. Had I bid 2C, I would crack 2H with the east hand. Now west has a funny problem. He has undisclosed FIVE CARD trump support for your MAJOR. but... he has 3 trumps and you've shown 4+ good trumps. lol. Anyways if he sits it and you lead a spade you hold declarer to 3 tricks on best defense for down 5. I would make a forcing raise in spades if I had one, otherwise a 2D bid would have been fine.
