I like my line on the grand better, even if it did cost me 20 IMPs and the match

Hrothgar writes "I like my line on the grand better, even if it did cost me 20 IMPs and the match".

Tim_Ucin played an early round of s, profiting from the singleton J.
Declarer could have reverted to Hrothgar's line, had both defenders followed low.

Robot bids too much and then misdefends to let itself make. Hmph.

I knew I totally blew the match when I blocked the club suit on board 6.

You're a braver man than I am for bidding K65432 twice on board 5. :)

Just curious - what happens if both GIBs qualify for R2? (Especially for the players in group C who haven’t challenged either of them...)

Personally, I think that GIB should advance...

If nothing else it will make an amusing story to recount next time someone on the forums complains about its level of play

No special treatment, they both advance. (And I guess score 0-0 against each other.)

Then in R2 the humans would have to play 2 robot challenges, one against each?

If a bot wins the whole thing, is it time to give in to our robot overlords?

How do we know which match was against which bot?
The easiest way to count losers is to line up the people who talk about loser count, and count them. -Kieran Dyke
