Both Timo (post 16) and Cherdano (post 29) explain this. Partner won't be bidding 7c over our 5♠; he/she will, however, bid 5nt with the 'nuts' hands where 7 is a good thing. And will just subside in 6 clubs otherwise. This isn't a convention, it is just logic.

I have the agreement that 5NT asks for keycards. On this case it would lead to 7 whenever partner has the 2 missing.

I assume that would not be what you would actually do in this case, that you are merely saying what 5nt would mean.

Basically, the OP hand is three tricks trying to see if there is hope for ten more from the other side of the table -- not just wondering if we have all the keycards.

With outside values he should have bid different.
So I count 8 tricks in !C and my both aces for ten.
There might come a trick 11 from anywhere but I am aware to go one down in five.
