A hand crept up recently. You hold S-KQ10852,H-Void,D-Void,C-AQJ9654 and you hear RHO (vul) open 1 Spade, whatever you bid LHO makes a negative dbl ,partner pass and RHO rebids Spades showing a six card suit. Now what?

Hands with long suit + length in opponent's main suit are extremely dangerous. The odds are huge pard will have the opposite suits and the deal is a trap.

I would actually PASS 1 and bid something later if opps find a fit, but bidding 2/3 should still be safe. Obviously, pass after this no matter what.

You are going to need the TD after LHO's negative double then... :P

I would bid 2C and pass 2S. Prtner, who undoubtedly holds a S void must be totally broke to not be able to raise C or must have a fistful of reds, or likely both.

Too much potential to make 3c to allow the opps to settle for 2s which all too easily could make or go down only 1.

If we are not vulnerable I would bid 4c. I do not have much defense against anything but spades (and clubs) and my
4c bid will encourage p to take a sac if they do not think they can set whatever the opps bid over 4c.

If we are vulnerable It still seems reasonable to bid 3c since the chances of making are still pretty good but too much risk to
hazard a 4c bid where we risk and easy -200 for going down 1x against a partial for the opps.
