This has worked quite well for us. It also resolves Han's excellent point that --when our first opportunity to support partner's minor is at the 4-level we want it to be an unambiguous raise without asking for keycards.

Responder gets to punt with bad, but answer keycards with good. Opener might not have really wanted specifically to ask for keys, but he gets the information anyway when responder has the good one.

However, when the first step happens to be hearts over 4D, and that is opener's suit, further discussion might be in order.
