If a good player saw the endplay coming wouldn't he just unblock in clubs rather than discarding a heart?

Yes, that's the point. So at the NABCs I got 1 matchpoint out of 36 for taking a line similar to this, and it was explained to me that at that level the players will unblock (unless playing mindgames with you). I considered this here too...but decided that dropping the heart queen was less likely, since both opps had pitched hearts and so there was no reason the queen should be dropping.
