I'm just trying to put all of these in one place...

GIB Robot upgraded
A new version of GIB was released on Sept 05, 2011. Please go to BBO Discussion Forum to discuss the robots. We call this GIB version 18.

Tweaks:

Improved logic for doubles, especially takeout doubles. (Note, this was the major change in this patch and we're not done improving GIB's takeout double sequences yet. However, we think you will like the logic improvements we've implemented this patch.)
Improved logic for delayed splinter in the opener's suit. Eg: 1S-2H-2S-4C/4D
Improved New Minor Forcing logic. Force with impunity!
Many bidding improvements. Eg: GIB will now open 1NT with 5422 shape.
Other minor bugfixes and changes.

Bbradley62.

Thanks for this - could you supply more detail?

Also what is provisionally planned - no guarantees is understood - for the next release?

Calm One: As you can see from my "Group" designation, I am not a BBO staffer, nor a forum admin, nor a Yellow. Hopefully Georgi can help with your questions.

Although Bbradley does put in more time to finding and reporting problems than anyone else. I honestly don't know where you find the time to search all the hands and report them here.

I will have to check that out.

Ok... looked at their site... Would BridgeBrowser (or GIBBrowser, for that matter) allow me to search the BBO myhands databank, or just a RecSoftware database?

I'm pretty sure they get their database from myhands (maybe also from OKbridge?).
