Double was described as showing 3 hearts, 3NT was described as showing a spade stop. How do I get GIB to bid a minor?

The defense was truly atrocious, so that I got an undivided top, but, uh... that's not really bridge.

I see some others bid 4♠, which apparently shows 27+ HCP and elicits a 6♣ response. 27+ HCP? Seriously? How often does that happen with 5-5 in the minors? I can bid slam all by myself if I have - AQJ AKQJx AKQJx...
