How many simulations does it take to figure out that a heart contract might possibly be better than a diamond contract?

PS Crappeletti sucks, 2 should show five hearts...

Answered your own question quite well. Single-minded robot never gets past the possibility of only 4 hearts and decides to go with the 5-1 instead of the 4-2.

Many "people" agree that it is important to use a style which establishes a 5-cd major.

But, the description of 3 is "4+D; 4+H", etc. So, does GIB even know he's getting a 5-1?

South rebids without encouragement all by himself at the 3-level with 4-4? Remember South is a people. 4-6, maybe.

I'm just reading the description provided, which should tell us "what GIB knows".

Why 4-6 and not 6-4? Personally I think 5-5 is more likely than either...

because the Bots know how much u hate not showing a 5-card major, and assume you would show a one-suiter with six. And maybe they are silly enough to think you would double 2S with 6M-4m or bid 2NT without disproportunate length in diamonds,
