If the auction started as in 4 I would be tempted to raise 3S to 4S as responder, which is an auction you didn't have on your list.
I don't think (2) or (6) are (or at least should be) possible.
I had the South hand and the "impossible" auction 2 took place. I think I was wrong taking out 3NT, and partner also wrong in passing 4
