I lead an unimaginative ♣K which I think will be right even when I might have been getting a heart ruff.

Few pairs managed to bid 5♠ over 5♦ on this one, an action that in theory changes +300 into -100 but in practice, +300 into +650 on ♣K lead...
I'm not quite sure what 5♣ accomplishes other than alerting opponents when it is right to bid 5♠.

they have to make 5♠ after ♣K lead you know?, this isn't obvious, is it?
