2nd: I don't mind a pass, but I would double
3rd: I think we must pass but far from familiar on these methods. Hand has low ODR despite the void
4th: Kinda unbelievable, partner has shortness in one major but probably 3 cards in the other, anything can work but I am gonna risk a pass.

#2 I prefer X, but if the partnership agreements require more for X,
I would pass, the spade suit quality is not good enough for me for 1S.
#3 Pass, ..., but it would be tempting to act, if 4S comes back to me,
you did not ask, if I would have let me tempted, most likely
I will Pass, but ...
#4 4D, if it does not work out, I use the excuse 6-5 come alive, maybe
it helps me to come back from the grave
With kind regards
Marlowe

2) X, being an overbidder, this seems clear.
3) Not even close.
4) 4♦, I'd rather overbid than misbid.
Do not underestimate the power of the dark side. Or the ninth trumph.
Best Regards Ole Berg

- If the original poster didn't bother to state his system, that means that he thinks it's obvious what he's playing. The only people who think this are 2/1 players.

2. Somewhat close but I would always double.
3. I suppose I have to pass but I don't like it (or the system that got me here).
4. 3♠. Pass could be right but I don't like 4♦ because partner could easily have a pretty good 2425 and will take us too high. If our style is to open very light with 5-5 majors then maybe I could chance 4♦ though.

very easy x
haven't played your system but x
I've never had this sequence but I will bid 4d (: I suppose 3♥ should be a two suiter for people like me who open most hands with 6 hearts on the 1 or 2 levels

2) Double. I would describe pass as remarkably terrible.
3) Reconsidering, I would pass.
4) 3S. 4D seems like a huge overbid to me and will get us doubled very often (RHO is very likely to have a good hand with diamond shortness).

2. x
3. Pass. Why would I bid here? They may be rolling into game and I have above average defense. Bidding gives them a 2 way shot.
4. I would have opened 3♠ the prior round because of the playing strength of this hand. I now bid 3♠

2. X. Pass is also ok.
3. X. I'm confident that this is a BIG winner in the long run. Sometimes partner has xxx, xx, Ax, Kxxxxx where conceding 140 with a slam on will not be great. I have to explore my possible fits.
4. 3♠. Perhaps we will get a chance to show hearts on the second round.

2. Double
3. Double
4. 3♠
I think all of the problems but 3 are true wtps, and MFA's example is starting to make me think 3 is a wtp as well. As for 2 I can't believe people are so generous toward pass, good grief please double!

1. Easy pass, easy 2 NT now, not close
2. double. I love to bid 2♣ over 1 ♦ but this is a double.
3. I would double for take out or if this is not avaiable bid 3 NT for the same reason. Even for your methods you have an exeptional holding and I would show it.
4. I remember this one, I guess I had tried 3 Spade but it had been very tempting to bid 4 Diamond.

Dbl. Would double with red suits reversed even.. can you imagine?

No. It would be too much of guess for me to bid here. Besides, opps didn't even bid to a game yet.

First pass was easy, now what?
Now an easy 4♦ Pard probably has 12-14 and shape like some 2236, but he can also be balanced, in which case you want to bid a game. It's better to get the suit right, even if a level higher, than to linger in 3♠ only to find out we got a 9 heart fit.. ooops.

2. Double.
3. I'd double.
4. 3S, I think that 4D is terrible.

2. Prefer dbl but I can understand pass.
3. Dbl, maybe I ought to have a 6th diamond but I think dbl is right, otherwise at least it will provoke some interesting discussion.
4. 4♦ wtp.
