I trust that he won't be going door to door saying tricks or treats.
Looking again, I see that the catalog describes it as a men's suit but shows a woman in it. ???.

Yes but I don't believe it. Not just because it's a woman in the picture, but look at the suit! If I'm supposed to believe the one that would arrive is not the one in the picture, I'm not taking that chance.
I should mention we found that exact same picture and suit on many different websites, and I don't recall seeing elsewhere that it was for a man.

Unitards are basically shapeless, it's the body that provides the shape.
Anyway, I found some unitards marketed specifically for men:
Dancewear, a UK company: https://dancewear.co...ucts/&subcat=27
I didn't see a nude-colored one, but perhaps a white one would work? Or could be dyed?
And from "The customer", a shop I haven't heard of: http://www.thecostumer.com/cfwebstore/inde...category_id=394
Pick the style you like, and then choose color. I would guess you want "beige".
I would tend to second the suggestion to ask at a dance school. They usually are associated with shops, and then your friend could find one that fits and feels comfortable against his skin.

So even this disclaimer in the description doesn't sway you?

Although I admit that I'm also skeptical. Not just because of the picture, but also because the size chart mentions bust size; if this measurement is mentioned at all for a man's shirt or jacket, it's called chest size. On the other hand, is 34-37 inches really a medium-sized woman? Isn't a 36-inch bust a full-figured woman?
