If we play it here, I'll try 5NT = pick a slam. If partner's spades are long but he's iffy on high cards he will put us in 6S and it will play better than 6NT. If we aren't playing it, I shoot 6NT.

4 NT, RKC and possibly to play 6 NT in my hand. I have a lot of extras, and I need to make a try.

Maybe I'm doing something else than most again, but I'd pass. I have no distribution, way too much finesses which have to work,... I hate preemptive openings  If opps play Namyats I might consider some more action, but that's unknown for me at this point.

Pass. Clear guessing position, game is most probable.

If 4NT were a balanced invite, I'd bid that. As it is, I'll pass.

This is a very tough hand, and I have sympathy for both pass and slam try. I can not see forcing to slam with this hand, however.

In final analysis, if partner has the expected 7/8 hcp (which he may very well not have since I am staring at 25 myself), we will ahve enough for slam. Even if he just has 3 or or so, we should have a play for 5 if partner has longish (if he has only 4 or 3 's, we could be in trouble even in 4).

Since I have to guess, being not vul, I would guess to pass, but I am not overly happy about it.
