I have never had severe log in problems. I am using download accelerator. Mine is opening 10 simultaneous connections. The free version opens 5 connections.

Maybe worth to give a try!

That wouldn't affect BBO logins. Basically the answer is: Get faster internet.

Avoid logging in when there's Vugraph going. BBOWin has to download the full list of everyone else logged in, so it's slower when there are more people logged in.

Of course, if you actually want to watch the Vugraph you're kind of screwed.

Deleting the "db" file in "Bridge Base Online" folder helps if you have older or slow machine.

That is not necessarily true. In fact, deleting this file could easily have an adverse impact on log in time (and performance in general).

Unless you really know what you are doing, I strongly suggest that you don't try deleting or modifying any of the files that BBO creates.

Logins typically take no more than a few seconds with the Flash client, even if you have a slow connection.

I've occasionally noticed long login times with Flash. Usually the little dot cycles 3-4 times, but I've seen it be around 10 times a couple of times, I think always during Vugraphs. This seems to be just one symptom of a more general slowness, as when this has happened I've also had trouble pulling up players' profiles; the profile pops up, but it takes a long time to display where they're located, sometimes long enough that the profile window goes away first unless I pin it.
