Pass, partner could neither open nor overcall 2D immediately, this is not a fight you wanna be in vul at imps. Admittedly I would never bid the way partner did, but his hand must be pretty weak.

Pass here and not hanging us for PD's risky prebalance. There's a real good chance that we have only 8 and a decent chance that the opps are on a 4-3 fit in .

LOTT really would say pass, and especially vulnerable. If we make 3 and 2 is down 1, we've gained nothing at IMPs. If we're down 1 and 2 makes 8 tricks, we've gained nothing by bidding.

But if we go down doubled in 3 and heaven forbid -2 on a part score hand we're going to cry.

Pass and hope we set 2 and perhaps two tricks on a lucky day.
