Sorry to have to unask your question, but you really should have overcalled 3NT instead of DBLing.

This hand is close to being a textbook example of a 3NT overcall of a weak 2-bid.

Hi,

having endplayed yourself, I would
go with 5D.

Your plan was to sell the hand as strong
with diamonds, so I would go ahead with
this plan.

But given the vulnerability, X maybe the
percentage bid.

With kind regards

5 it was, hence the post. I was blinded by the strong hand and 's

Change the hand and the opening bid;

Scoring: IMP

P (2) ?

In the changed scenario, 3NT is no longer is
an option.

Depending on your agreement you bid either
3D asking for a stopper, or if 3D is Michales
you have to go via a t/o.

I play 3 as a stopper ask, so that's what I would bid with the hand. If I did not play that convention, then I am doubling.
