Playing something close to Bridge World Standard 2/1, you pick up this shapely 17 count, decide to open 1 club, and hear partner bid 1 spade. What is your plan for bidding this hand, with the opponents remaining silent?

Hidden exclusion key card answer:
What is exclusion key card in Bridge World Standard.
We would play 3
♦ shows a singleton and 4
♦ shows a void. Thereafter we can bid 4NT exclusion key-card. This has the advantage of allowing us to find out about the trump queen below slam.
Anyway even without the
♠Q slam has a play and with it it is unlikely to be much worse than the club finesse even without the
♠A.
I will bid exclusion now even if it is 5
♦.
