Not terribly excited.

Q is very nice
Like my club intermediates
Not happy about diamond King
Hearts are real good

Partner is probably bidding slam no matter what I do (from experience, a 5D cue;s don;t want to stop. We might have grand however. I assume partner has club fit (didn't bid 3H), and I bid 5H as my only cooperation.

I don't like my hand on this auction.

I treat it as a minimum. Hence I chose 5H as my bid over 5D. Partner is in control.

I cannot really answer that question too well, because I don't know what my partner and I have agreed to as far as a 5 call in this auction.

If this asks for a diamond control for a heart slam, I have one, but not first-round. So, I'll bid 6. If it is Exclusion, I don't really care how much I do or do not like my hand -- I'll simply answer.
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."

Normally partner would have clubs for this auction, but I see in the comment that partner did not have a forcing 2 bid available.

I'll bid 5NT to cater to whatever suit partner is supporting (clubs or hearts); I think I want to drive to slam and not play in 5.

today's partner hand was:

A10xxx
J8xx

AK9x

Partner wasn't really happy with my 5 heart negative. He was actually quite upset.

Your partner greatly confused the auction by not splintering for clubs as his rebid. Now you got into an auction where no one really knows what the bids mean exactly, so you had to guess and guessed wrong, I can't really blame you.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.
